FIRST ASSEMBLY of GOD is a church that is friendly and caring, and where you will feel loved regardless of who you are, where you've been, or where you're going in life. Each of our services are prayerfully designed to meet the needs of each individual.

Our worship services are tempered with both contemporary worship and traditional hymns. The sermons are biblically sound and provide instructions to live a victorious Christian life in today's society. The small group Bible studies are geared to help you grow in your relationship with Christ, and they are prepared based on your level of maturity and interest. You will find a variety of ministry opportunities to be involved in as a participant or as a recipient.

FIRST ASSEMBLY of GOD is committed to becoming a church "Reaching the un-Churched." We feel strongly that God has commissioned us to reach Andrews with the Pentecostal message. In doing so we have positioned ourselves to achieve the following goals:

1. Become more evangelistic and outreach oriented in our ministry.
2. Design services and ministry for the unchurched.
3. Be consistent in being involved in more people accepting Jesus as Savior.
4. Be a church where people can experience God's Love.
5. Be a church where people can learn to live by faith.
6. Be a church where people can experience the Spirit-filled Life.
7. Be a church where people can know about the abundant life given by Christ.
8. Be a church where worship is Spirit-led.
9. Provide opportunities for individuals to grow in their relationship with Christ.

First Assembly exist to introduce people to Jesus, include them in membership, instruct them in God's Word to Christian maturity, and to involve them in worship and ministry to magnify God.

To renew hope through the message of Love. We are committed to providing a clear presentation of the gospel of Christ through preaching and teaching God's Word. We are committed to provide persistent outreach ministries so that the un-churched might know the joy of salvation and the power of the Spirit-filled life. We are committed to expressing the love of God to all people in the way we live our lives.

To change the lives of people through the message of Faith. We are committed to leading people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them to know that they can live an abundant life, and that they can participate in the unlimited blessings of God.

To build up people through the message of Wisdom. We believe that Wisdom is the principle thing, and that God's Word is the ultimate source of Wisdom. We are committed to teaching people the Word, encouraging them to increase in godly wisdom thus growing in their relationship with God. Wisdom will help them discover and develop their gifts, and become godly leaders moving forward in ministry in the church, the community and the world.

We will fulfill our mission by taking the following action:

1. Our community by developing and implementing quality and non-threatening outreach events that express the Love of God.
2. The world by persistently supporting world ministries that are aligned with our mission. We will support those ministries prayerfully and financially.

• Encourage

1. People to come into a relationship with Christ by offering salvation opportunities in each worship service and each class conducted by First Assembly.
2. New believers to become members of First Assembly.
3. Believers to be more active in their personal spiritual growth by providing training to help them develop in the following areas: 1) Prayer, 2) the study of God's Word, 3) Worship, 4) Faith, 5) Abundant living, and 6) personal evangelism.
4. FAOG family to participate in fellowship to develop strong and growing relationships with other believers.

9. Believers by providing learning opportunities that will prepare them for ministry service, and presenting ministry opportunities that will allow them to become involved.

• Enlarge The number of the attendance by providing relevant and quality Spirit-filled ministries, consistently emphasizing the importance of each believer to be full of the Holy Spirit and to be involved in personal evangelism, focusing on presenting our ministries to the un-churched residents of Andrews County, and becoming more visible in the community and the district.
